Well run, newly built hotel. Friendly, helpful staff
Noise and vibration from nightclub till 2:00am
The hotel is pretty new, and everything seemed to function well. The location was very decent. While not on a beach, one could easily access the restaurant and shops in Papeete. The pool area was very relaxing.
There was quite a lot of traffic noise, and the hotel is on a main street, so traffic noise was relatively constant. If I stayed again, I would request a room facing away from Avenue Prince Hinoi.
The ability to leave luggage after checkout. The ability to stay and shower, and use the pool area after checkout at the hotel with no charge. Wonderful, helpful staff. What a nice experience, unlike other hotels.
The elevator system . had trouble with the elevator keycard system
The hotel is in a good location close to the town, docks and roulettes. It is clean and modern and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is a good place for a stopover in Papeete.
We stayed on two occasions in a standard room and a junior suite. The standard room was fine. The suite was a bit noisy at night (it was a saturday and there was a lot of noise outside). The bathroom in the suite was poorly designed and difficult to use.
Decor. Good aircon. Good food in the restaurant. Lovely ambience
One of two aircon controllers needed batteries and did not work. Only one controller for two tv'S. However neither caused a problem. Excellent hotel.
Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful Free WiFi is great - even better if it was available in the guest rooms
The card key access for the lift is a good idea, but does not work very easily
A lovely clean and modern hotel close to Ferry terminal
Very loud music late into the night dim hallway lighting at night making it uncomfortable to access your room.
Nice clean hotel to stay in.. clean and in a good location. Papeete is a nice place to stay tho not much to do except for city tour. No night life if your looking for one.
The location was excellent for getting out into the town. Even though our flight wasn't until midnight the staff were very happy for us to mill around all day and have access to the pool etc.
the room wasn't ready until an hour after check in. Upon getting into that room it was a twin and not a double as booked. It then took a further hour for the correct room to be ready. WiFi was only available in the lobby. when having a shower water spilled into the main bathroom and did not drain quickly. Upon talking to other guests this was not a limited problem to just our room but all the rooms in general. There was no full length mirror in the bedroom. Whist being entertaining to watch the aqua gym making the pool unusable for an hour and a half both in the evening and in the morning was an annoyance. Also it is very dark with poor lighting throughout.
Very spacious for an executive two-bed room unit. Modern design. Close (200 meters) to island ferries and the night food market on harbourside.
The kitchen is not fully equiped. There is no microwave. A deep pot, a cutting knife, and a chop board were not available before we asked the hotel clerk to provide them.
The reception desk girls were always smiling and very helpful to me with the phone to reserve little tours (cause I am deaf) The restaurant was really very good with delicate foods and drinks.
Didn't really want to say this... but when I grabbed a bottle of beer and could not open it...had to go down to the lobby to for the gal to open it for me! Just a little suggestion to have a bottle opener mounted on the wall beside the fridge.
Room itself was ok, but everything else was very bad.
Everything else, but room itself. Room also was just ok, nothing specific.
The room and balcony layout was excellent. We hade to stay for 1 night awaiting a flight to NZ. The staff provided a shower and change room after check out for a final wash proior to flight.
The rooms were incredibly spacious with a full sized kitchen. Great for extended stopovers, better than any other resort in Tahiti. Excellent lovation for those catching Moorea ferry or for checking out Papeete and indeed Tahiti island in a rental car.
The bathroom while being spacious and modern wasn't very functional. The shower was over a skinny bath with no screen resulting in the shower leaking all over the floor. There was nothing we could do to stop it except use lots of towels to soak up the water which fortunately there were a lot of. Perhaps they were already aware of the design fault.
great place to start a trip to the islands, before you head out you have a great spot to do last minute preparation and supply hunting...
